 Installation:

Unzip this and cf18panv1.zip to a temporary folder, then create the following folders:
model - model.cfg and cf18.mdl
panel - panel.cfg
sound - sound.cfg and all .wav files
texture - all .bmp texture files
And in the main folder leave cf18.air, aircraft.cfg, cf18_check.cfg, cf18.cdp and cf18.dp
Then place the CF-18 folder into your CFS\Aircraft folder. Then place all .gau folders into your CFS\Gauges folder. Then place the panel.cfg file and associated bitmaps into the CFS\Aircraft\CF-18\Panel folder. Then simply start CFS and select the CF-18 Hornet in Free Flight.

Aircraft dedicated to the men & women of the Canadian Armed Forces and
530 Havoc and 333 Lord Beaverbrook RC(Air)C Squadrons

Notes:

 - the airfile isn't perfectly accurate, but it is a great ride and flies pretty close to what you'd expect of a hornet, even if it is a bit slower.

 - As this is a Canadian Hornet, not a USN one, it is NOT CARRIER COMPATIBLE. You can take off from a carrier, but you can't land, trust me i know, i've made craters time and again off the ark royal.

LEGAL:

This pack is all freeware, cannot be sold in any way shape or form. Any changes must get the permission of the designers, Gregory Logan (model and dp), Bill Potvin (Cfo gauge) and myself (panel) before being uploaded to any site. If your computer messes up cuz of this, it aint my problem. All efforts were made to contact Michael Oxner to get permission to use his hornet .air file. Aside from the panel, i didn't make any of this, i simply repainted an existing aircraft, i take no credit for it, SO DONT THROW THAT COPYRIGHT BULLSH*T AT ME!!
